Preliminary excavations point toRoman / Raetian predecessor structure
- Maiensäss main phase in the Medieval period has been evidenced as well
- Micromorphological analysis will follow to study construction and furnishing details
In an upcoming project, we would like to further explore this unexpected temporal depth at the Maiensäss sites to raise awareness of old landscape structures and contribute to the preservation of these valuable custodians of cultural heritage.
