Submit research project
Would you like to conduct your own research project in the Swiss National Park, the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Engiadina Val Müstair, or the Regional Nature Park Biosfera Val Müstair?
You may submit your project proposal via this link by mid-February. In exceptional cases, a project can also be submitted during the year. Please note that your research project must be submitted at least one month prior to the planned project start date.
Please read the research guidelines carefully before submitting your project and take note of the following:
- Projects involving fieldwork in the SNP: Fieldwork and surveys in the Swiss National Park require approval from the FOK-SNP. In this case, you are required to submit a project application to the FOK-SNP. Additionally, annual registration of fieldwork/surveys in the SNP is mandatory.
- Projects without fieldwork in the SNP: Projects that do not involve fieldwork in the SNP do not require approval. However, we still recommend submitting a project application so that we can provide logistical and content-related support.
Review of projects by the FOK-SNP
The FOK-SNP carefully reviews all submitted applications and decides on potential financial support as well as, in the case of projects involving fieldwork in the SNP, their approval. You will then receive detailed feedback on your project and suggestions for its implementation.
Afterwards, you will be asked to inform us about your planned research activities for the coming year.
